MINNEAPOLIS — According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, a portion of Interstate 94 in Minneapolis was closed for more than 12 hours while authorities investigated a “use of force” incident.

Minnesota State Patrol officers responded to a crash in the area of ​​eastbound I-94 and Dowling Avenue around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

The agency said the incident resulted in a “use of deadly force” after police arrived. No injuries were reported and the suspect was arrested.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the incident.

The motorway was reopened on Sunday at around 10:45 a.m.

Authorities did not provide any further information about the incident.
