Lizzo has been on a weight loss quest lately, sharing fitness videos on her Instagram and TikTok accounts while promoting her shapewear brand Yitty.

On September 19, she shared a video in which a social media user accused her of taking Ozempic or snorting cocaine to lose weight.

A few days later, Lizzo seemingly responded by sharing a carousel of herself in a red bathrobe with the caption, “When you finally get ozempian accusations after 5 months of weight training and being in a calorie deficit.” The post was captioned, “'ozempian or coke?' – a fan.”

The carousel included a screenshot of the post promoting her Yitty bodysuit. The user commented, “Was she taking Ozempic or snorting coke?” Lizzo responded, “Why are you following me?” That's a valid question for most trolls and people who leave negative comments on other people's social media accounts.

Lizzo's call received praise from her fans, who support her in her weight loss endeavor regardless of the details of her process.

The “Truth Hurts” singer has mostly “kept her peace” during her self-described “gap year.” Last year, Lizzo was sued by three former dancers for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment, though she claimed the allegations were “false” and “outrageous.”
