Packers fans will be ready to run through a wall after Tucker Kraft's quote

Green Bay Packers fans had a bit of a scare this week when Tucker Kraft showed up on the injury report with a shoulder injury. Kraft, a third-round pick in the 2023 draft, found himself in the TE1 role for the Packers this season, so the injury was concerning.

Fortunately, not only does Kraft look to be on the mend, but he also gave the quote of all quotes when talking about his health.

While wearing the red jersey during training (which he participated in on a limited basis), Kraft said, “Every morning I wake up feeling even better and on Sunday I'll be ready to rip someone's face off again. It's going to be good.”

The Packers spent a third-round pick on Kraft in the 2023 NFL Draft after he had a standout career at South Dakota State. The Packers had already spent a second-round pick on Luke Musgrave in the same draft, but the decision to add two tight ends early in the draft was a smart one.

Kraft has worked his way up to the starting position and has four catches for 53 yards in two games this season. He finished last season with 31 catches for 355 yards and two touchdowns. He was also an excellent blocker, something that tight ends were known for in old-school football.

The Packers helped Malik Willis in his first start as a Packer by driving the ball down Indianapolis' throat, and the end result was 261 rushing yards for the Green Bay rushing attack. Josh Jacobs ran for 151 yards and Kraft was part of the blocks that helped set up this deadly running game by the Packers offense.

In summary, not having Kraft would severely impact the Packers' offensive plans for their game against Tennessee in Week 3. However, that quote doesn't sound like a quote someone who isn't playing this week would say. If Kraft is able to play, it sounds like he will be ready to face the Titans, which is excellent news for Packers fans.
