Suspect charged with attempted murder in shooting at McDonald's in Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, SC – A 19-year-old suspect has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the shooting at a McDonald's in Rock Hill last month.

Jerrique Dunham, 19, turned himself in to Rock Hill police on Sunday, officials said. He was served with arrest warrants for attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Dunham was wanted by police for his involvement in the Aug. 25 shooting at a McDonald's on South Cherry Road. An 18-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the head in the parking lot and was taken to the hospital.

Two other warrants were also issued for Dunham's arrest for a previous shooting incident in which police say he fired a gun and shot at two different residences.

Jameson Dunham, 20, was arrested on August 26 on charges of aiding and abetting the crime, police said.
