Caitlin Clark and Indiana Fever open the WNBA playoffs against Connecticut Sun

CAITLIN CLARK TRULY IS THE BEST, BUT WHAT CAN'T SHE DO? SHE'S ONE OF THE BEST BASKETBALL PLAYERS OF ALL TIME. AND BY HER CLAIM, THE BEST AT BEGGARS NIGHT. AFTER DOMINATING OVER THE WEEKEND, CLARK WAS ASKED HOW SHE LIKES TO JOKE AT PRACTICE. THE INDIANA FEVER GUARD SAYS THE SECRET IS ACTUALLY THAT SHE DOMINATED AT TRICK-OR-TREATMENT AS A KID. THE WEST DES MOINES LOCAL CREDITS HER CHEERFUL AND FUNNY SIDE TO DES MOINES BEGGARS NIGHT. WHEN YOU TRICK OR TREAT IN DES MOINES, IOWA, YOU HAVE TO TELL A JOKE TO GET CANDY. AND I GUESS THERE'S NOWHERE ELSE IN THE COUNTRY THAT'S WHAT YOU DO. SO YOU HAVE TO TELL A JOKE. SO YOU GO TO THEIR DOOR AND YOU HAVE TO TELL A JOKE TO GET YOUR CANDY. AND I KNOW MY MOTHER IS A PIER RIDER THERE. SO IF YOU DON'T TELL A JOKE, YOU DON'T GET CANDY. THESE POOR KIDS KNOW BETTER. SO ON HALLOWEEN YOU BETTER TELL A GOOD JOKE. AND WHAT SHE ALSO DIDN'T TELL THE REPORTERS IS THAT BEGGARS NIGHT IS NOT EVEN ON HALLOWEEN. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT. I NEVER UNDERSTAND IT. DID YOU GUYS HAVE TO TELL A JOKE? NO, NO, BECAUSE I DIDN'T GROW UP HERE LIKE I GREW UP IN SAINT LOUIS AND WE TOLD JOKES THERE TOO. AND I WAS PAINFULLY SHY AND NEVER WANTED TO DO THAT. EVER. BUT
