The Dallas Cowboys' terrible statistics show how bad they are at home

The Dallas Cowboys were really good at home during the 2023 regular season, going 8-0. Their luck at AT&T Stadium came to an abrupt end when they were defeated by the Green Bay Packers 48-32 in the playoffs.

The game was never close, as the Packers took a 27-7 halftime lead. Since then, large halftime deficits have been the norm.

In Week 2, the New Orleans Saints led 35-16 and this weekend the Baltimore Ravens went into the break with a 21-6 lead.

All of that sounds bad on its own, but when you add it all up, it's beyond embarrassing. As Jon Machota notes, they've been outscored by 54 points in their last three home games.

Frustrating starts are never pretty to watch, but fans must be tired of seeing the same result every week and hearing the same statements from players. Before this game, Dak Prescott claimed his team is set up to be the aggressor, which is hard to take when they constantly allow their opponents to set the tone.

And it doesn't help silence critics like Rex Ryan, who called the team's defense “hot garbage” during the Week 3 countdown show.

If Dallas can't fight back in this game, they'll fall to 1-2. That's not an ideal start, but given the struggles they've had over the past two weeks, it seems almost insurmountable.
