Jerry Jones sends a clear message to Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys regarding Super Bowl expectations

Jerry Jones is under great pressure after the Dallas Cowboys because of a devastating loss at home against the New Orleans Saints. After signing huge contract extensions for Daniel Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, no one expected such a terrible performance.

Of course, the defense was the big problem with a new coordinator like Mike Zimmer. After Dan Quinn left the team to become head coach of the Washington Commanders, this should be a promising fresh start for Dallas on that side of the ball.

Now two teams that are Super Bowl Candidates in the NFL have no room for error in Week 3. The Baltimore Ravens visit the Cowboys in Arlington and before the game, Jones tries to calm things down.

Can the Cowboys win the Super Bowl in 2024?

Jerry Jones sounded absolutely confident when he talked about the Dallas Cowboys and their Super Bowl chances in an interview with 105.3 The Fan. In fact, the owner admitted that losses like the one against the Saints are normal on the way to the championship.

“It wouldn't be accurate at all to say this is a game that one of the two teams (Ravens) has to win. It's not, because that's the NFL. We just have to remember that the whole offseason was about criticizing us for how we played in the playoffs last year. Not for how we played during the season. Not for Dak almost being the MVP. My focus is on the playoffs.”
