12-year-old Arizona girl arrested in investigation into threat at Milwaukee school

MILWAUKEE – A 12-year-old girl was arrested and charged in Arizona on Sunday after threatening a Milwaukee school.

The Buckeye, Arizona Police Department said officers were contacted by the Milwaukee Police Department in connection with an investigation into a threat at a school.

Police found the IP address was linked to a home in Buckeye, Arizona. Officers went to that home, questioned a 12-year-old girl and seized evidence. Police say she was arrested and charged with serious crimes, including terroristic threatening.

It is unclear which school in Milwaukee received the threat.
