Giants-Browns inactive players: Brian Burns active for Giants

The New York Giants received some good injury news ahead of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. After a strenuous pregame workout, star defenseman Brian Burns is back in action. Burns was questionable due to a groin problem he suffered on Friday.

The Giants have named two players from the practice squad for Sunday's game: linebacker Ty Summers and cornerback Art Green.

This is the third and final promotion in three games for Summers, a veteran special teamer, meaning he must be added to the 53-man roster or go off the waivers list to be reinstated to the practice squad.

Green, 24, played on the Denver Broncos' practice squad last season. He was promoted to the active roster for the team's final game of the season.

Former Giants running back Gary Brightwell was called up from the Browns' practice squad for the game.
