1 seriously injured after pedestrian accident in Bridgeport: PD

The accident is said to have occurred in the Boston Avenue area, police said.

BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident Sunday evening in Bridgeport, according to city police.

At 8:22 p.m., the Bridgeport Emergency Communications Center received a call about the accident, which police said occurred in the 2000 block of Boston Avenue.

A rescue team took a man to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. His current condition is unknown.

Police have not released any further details about the accident at this time.
