Three people arrested in gang-related drive-by shooting in Moses Lake, no injuries reported

MOSES LAKE, Wash. – Moses Lake police and Grant County sheriff’s deputies have arrested three people suspected of being responsible for a gang-related drive-by shooting.

According to officials, the shooting occurred around 12:15 p.m. today in the Larson community. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Officials said witnesses described a car stopping in front of a home in the 900 block of Lowry Drive, where the occupants displayed gang signs and yelled obscenities. A passenger in the back seat then fired two shots in their direction before the vehicle sped away.

Police said they quickly found the suspects' car on Northshore Drive in Moses Lake. The adult male passenger who fired the gun was taken into custody and is currently in the Grant County Jail on multiple counts of first-degree assault, police said. The two juvenile suspects are also in custody, and police said they are being investigated for their involvement in the drive-by shooting.

The name of the adult suspect and further details will be released tomorrow.
