Falcons buy 100,000 hot dogs in honor of their owner Arthur Blank

The Atlanta Falcons are treating fans to a treat in honor of owner Arthur M. Blank being inducted into the team's Ring of Honor.

Levy Restaurants and the Falcons have purchased 100,000 Blank-themed hot dogs, chip bags and souvenir cups for Sunday's home game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The promotion includes two free hot dogs and two chip bags per visit through the end of the third quarter. The souvenir cups can also be refilled for free.

The 100,000 hot dogs purchased for Atlanta's Week 3 game represents 10 to 20 times the sales volume at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and is more than the total number of hot dogs sold in the 2023 season (82,000). The Falcons are preparing for the action by setting up 20 additional hot dog concession stands, as well as an outdoor kitchen with 12 ovens.

The Falcons began their season 1-1, with a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and a decisive last-minute win over the Philadelphia Eagles, in which quarterback Kirk Cousins converted a seven-yard pass to Drake London for a touchdown. Younghoe Koo's field goal kick sealed the victory.
