Clark County man accused in his sister's death claims she poisoned him, according to court documents

Court documents in the case of the Clark County man who allegedly admitted to police that he stabbed his sister to death reveal new details.

Dwayne Robinson, 34, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 36-year-old Diane Robinson and is being held without bail, court records say. The two lived together in the 7500 block of Northeast 123rd Court.

According to court documents, deputies arrived at the scene around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a call from Kenneth Leachman, Diane Robinson's ex-husband, who said Dwayne Robinson had stabbed her.

According to the records, Leachman told police he stopped by the house to check on Diane Robinson and Dwayne Robinson told Leachman he killed Diane Robinson.

Officers surrounded the house and Dwayne Robinson immediately surrendered. According to records, officers found Diane Robinson's body covered under a blanket in the kitchen.

According to court documents, Dwayne Robinson told officers he was suffering from “depression, sadness and pain” because his sister had been poisoning him for years.

According to police, he decided to kill her on Sunday, September 15. He found her eating in the kitchen and stabbed her four times in the chest with a hunting knife before she fell to the ground and died. “Afterward, he covered her with a blanket and later ate her food because it was not poisoned,” court documents say.

Dwayne Robinson's next court date is scheduled for Monday, September 23rd at 3:00 p.m.
