1 person hospitalized after shooting following domestic incident in Val Verde

One person was hospitalized following a shooting that allegedly stemmed from a domestic incident Sunday evening in Val Verde.

According to officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, officers were called to the 28900 block of Paradise Road around 6:30 p.m. after receiving a call about domestic violence and gunshots.

One person was transported to a nearby hospital by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics. Their condition is unknown.
