Three suspects arrested in drive-by shooting in Moses Lake | Columbia Basin

MOSES LAKE – In a quick and coordinated action between Moses Lake Police and the Grant County Sheriff's Office, three people were arrested following a gang-related drive-by shooting in the Larson Community on Sunday. Sheriff's officials say the incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. in the 900 block of Lowry Drive, but thankfully no one was injured.

Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle pull up in front of a residence with its occupants displaying gang signs and shouting obscenities. Moments later, a passenger in the back seat fired two shots in the direction of the witnesses before the car sped away.

Authorities responded quickly and thanks to the cooperation of witnesses and the collaboration between Grant County Sheriff's Deputies and Moses Lake Police Officers, the suspect vehicle was located on Northshore Drive in Moses Lake. Three male suspects, including two juveniles and one adult, were arrested.

The adult suspect was identified as the person who fired the weapon from the back seat. He is currently being held in the Grant County Jail and is being investigated for multiple counts of first-degree assault. The two juveniles are in custody pending investigation into the drive-by shooting.

The names of the suspects, including the adult, are expected to be released on Monday as the investigation continues.
