One man dead in Brooklyn apartment, another injured after apparent stabbing

A man was found dead in a Brooklyn apartment on Sunday, while another man who lived in the house suffered severe stab wounds all over his body, police said.

Police arrived around 1:30 p.m. after receiving a 911 call about an assault in progress. They entered the apartment near the corner of East 95th Street and Clarkson Avenue in East Flatbush and found a man dead with injuries to his head and chest and a 27-year-old man with cuts all over his body, police said.

According to police, two knives were seized at the crime scene.

According to police, paramedics took the 27-year-old man to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in serious but stable condition.

“They agreed to meet at the location where an argument had taken place,” a police source said. “Both men suffered cuts from the knives found at the scene.”

The identity of the dead victim is not yet known; there were no immediate arrests as the investigation is still ongoing, police said.
