John Mulaney and Olivia Munn have a second child, a daughter named Méi

comedian John Mulaney and actor Olivia Munn now have a second child, a daughter named Méi June Mulaney.

Munn said in an Instagram post Sunday that the girl was born on Thursday via a surrogate mother.

“I have had so many deep emotions about not being able to carry my daughter,” Munn said in the post, which included a photo of the parents and baby together on a hospital bed. “When I first met our surrogate, we spoke mother to mother. She showed me so much kindness and understanding that I knew I had found a true angel. Words cannot express my gratitude for her protecting our baby for nine months and making our dreams come true.”

Munn added that “Méi (pronounced 'may') means plum in Chinese.”

Mulaney, 42, and Munn, 44, who also have a two-year-old son, married in July.

Munn announced earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a bilateral mastectomy. In an interview with People in March, Munn said Mulaney was by her side the whole time and it “felt like climbing an iceberg without him.”

The two began dating in 2021 and had their son, Malcolm, in November of the same year.
