Low chance of rain for Texoma next week

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Good morning, Texoma! Today will be very similar to what we experienced in the area yesterday. Skies will be mostly sunny during the day and temperatures will climb into the upper 30s this afternoon. There is about a 10% chance of precipitation for tonight, which will bring rain to a few lucky areas, but most will remain completely dry.

The forecast for Monday and Tuesday is identical. Highs of 35 degrees or higher are expected on both days, with skies remaining mostly clear. While we can't completely rule out rain on either of these days, the chance of rain is very low (less than 10%). Wednesday will be a little warmer, with highs of 35 degrees or higher and about a 10% chance of rain in the evening. It's important to note that while rain is possible on any day, the most likely scenario is that most of Texoma will not see any rain until Thursday.

Our next possible pattern change will occur next weekend as a cold front attempts to move into the area. It is still unclear if the cold front will make it to Texoma, and this will be a deciding factor in what weather we can expect during the last weekend of summer. There could be scattered rain, or it could remain completely dry. We will be monitoring this and will keep you updated as it continues!

Have a nice Sunday!
