The Cleveland Browns lost Sunday's game against the New York Giants 21-15 and fans are looking for answers as to what went wrong and cost the AFC North team a chance to win in Week 3.

Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski offered several explanations after the game as to why his team was unable to secure its second win of the season.

However, he would not attribute the lion's share of the blame to the quarterback position.

Insider Mary Kay Cabot shared on X what Stefanski said during the team's postgame press conference, revealing the head coach's thoughts on quarterback Deshaun Watson.

“Deshaun obviously gives it everything he has,” Stefanski said of his quarterback, adding: “He can't get sacked as often; he can't get hit as often. That's not good enough, and that's on me. It's up to us to fix that.”

Watson was sacked eight times on Sunday, a league record, for a loss of 48 yards.

The Browns can blame some of the blame on their makeshift offensive line, which was further weakened when James Hudson, Jedrick Wills and Wyatt Teller were replaced during the game against the Giants due to injuries.

Cleveland finished the game with two centers playing simultaneously, as Ethan Pocic moved to the guard position while guard Joel Bitonio moved to the tackle position to fill the gaps.

Watson finished the game with 21 successful passes out of 37, scoring 196 yards and two touchdowns for the Browns.

On the ground, Watson recorded four carries for 26 yards, making him the team's second-leading runner.
