Mick Foley signs Legends deal with WWE

According to a new report, Mick Foley is under contract with WWE.

WWE Hall of Fame member Mick Foley recently caused controversy with his comments on the allegations against Vince McMahon. He said he would continue to respect McMahon until he knew more about what “may have happened.”

Sean Ross Sapp from Combative (above Fighting selection) reported that sources indicated that Foley had at some point renewed a Legends deal with WWE.

According to Sapp, under the terms of the deal, Foley will continue to appear on merchandise, video games, action figures, etc.

Foley had previously stated that he had decided not to return to the ring for a farewell fight after stating that he wanted to do so.

Mick Foley on plans to confront MJF

Had Mick Foley made his return to the ring, he would have had plans for a possible match against MJF. At Nickel City Comic-Con via Fandom Spotlite, Foley revealed that they had six weeks of TV shows planned. (H/T to Andrew Thompson/Post Wrestling)

“Man, I tell you what, when I was thinking about doing that final match, when I announced that intention, there was no shortage of people from every promotion reaching out to me, and one guy I probably would have gone with because he had obviously thought about it and announced six great weeks of television was MJF,” said Mick Foley.

“We didn't take a photo together because we didn't want to ruin the secret meeting, but I heard what he had to say and I really liked it. I had no doubt that he would have pulled it off perfectly, and you know, he's so good and at his best that he could have worked around my weaknesses and played to my strengths and I think we could have done something pretty cool. MJF. Final answer. Take that, Matt Cardona.”
