A second suspect was arrested this morning in connection with a mass shooting in Harrisburg.

Bradley Lebrun, 22, of Harrisburg, was wanted for at least three months since the May shooting before the Harrisburg Bureau of Police arrested him on Sept. 23. He is charged with prohibited possession of a weapon and simple assault.

Co-defendant Kameron Hymes, 27, was arrested in June and is charged with one count of manslaughter, four counts of recklessly endangering another person, one count of carrying a weapon without a license and one count of possession of a weapon without a license.

Two people, Dominic Jackson, 27, and Zauhnteen Jackson, 21, both of Harrisburg, were killed in the shooting. Three others were injured.

According to police, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area around the corner of South 15th and Chestnut streets in the city around 8:30 p.m. on May 21.

As officers were en route to the scene, they were stopped by a man in the 1400 block of Market Street who had gunshot wounds to his side. Officers administered first aid and called an ambulance, which took the man to the hospital.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot multiple times and suffered serious injuries. A woman then approached police. She had a gunshot wound to the leg. A third male victim was also found at the scene with gunshot wounds. All three victims were also taken to the hospital.

Authorities said the man they found on Market Street, as well as one of the male victims found near South 15th and Chestnut streets, died of their injuries at the hospital.

Hours later, authorities said, a woman was hospitalized with a gunshot wound. Police say all five adult victims were shot in the same incident, which is being considered a mass shooting.

According to the authorities, this was a targeted incident and there is no further danger to the population.
