Heavy rain is expected to cause flooding and traffic disruption.

  • Spray and flooding are likely to cause difficult driving conditions and some road closures
  • Delays and some cancellations of train and bus services are likely
  • Homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings
  • Power outages and loss of other services likely in some homes and businesses
  • The possibility that some communities will be cut off from the outside world by flooded streets

Where to get sandbags:

If your home is at risk of flooding, sandbags can be obtained from your local town or parish council. Additional supplies are available from our depot on Lower Lode Lane in Tewkesbury.

Our priority is the most vulnerable and our staff will visit the affected areas. Ubico is also on site to deliver sandbags if needed.

It is extremely important to note that our emergency sandbags are designed to protect doorways only. Placing sandbags in driveways, gardens and garages will only deplete supplies.
