Milford man charged with murder of woman | Latest from WDEL News

A woman is dead and a young man from Milford is in custody, accused of murder and a weapons offense.

Milford police said officers were called Sunday afternoon regarding a person with “mental health issues.” The person stated that he or she had killed someone.

A 50-year-old woman was found dead in a residence on Lakeview Avenue.

Edouard Risch Oldens, 18, was taken into custody on $680,000 bail. He is charged with first-degree murder and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.

Oldens will appear for a preliminary hearing in the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas at a later date.

The victim's name was not released.
