Denise K. Lipka, age 62, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the home of a friend. She was born on December 21, 1961, in Madison to Paul and Marjorie (Hahn) Lipka. She graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1980. On May 6, 2002, she married the love of her life, Scott Swick.

She worked for American Eagle and then moved to American Airlines as a gate agent at Tampa International Airport before retiring in 2021. Denise enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Packer fan and loved to voice her opinion on a bad game. It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember.

She leaves behind a stepdaughter, Ariane (Dustin) Debien; her grandchildren, Dustin, Adelia and Austin; her brother, Terry (Peggy) of Sun Prairie; her sister, Debby (Dave Butman) Lipka of Rice Lake; a niece, Nicole (Alex) Van Maren; and her nephew, Paul Lipka.

Before her death, her parents, her husband Scott in 2012, her brother Thomas Lipka and her nephew Jeremy Lipka died.

A celebration of life is being planned.
