Kourtney Kardashian's husband Travis Barker reveals unfortunate incident with baby Rocky after being 'out of the spotlight'

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, especially the former, lead very public lives, but they try their best to ensure that this is not the case with their son Rocky.

Although the Poosh founder's three older children – whom she has with her ex Scott Disick, Mason, Penelope and Reign – have been in the spotlight practically since birth, and the Blink-182 drummer's two children, Landon and Alabama, also lead public lives, they hope to do things differently with their ten-month-old son.

The couple, who married in 2022, welcomed their son Rocky Thirteen (the Kardashians' 13th grandchild) on November 1, 2023, and despite a recent invasion of their privacy, they are careful to keep him out of the public eye.

Travis recently revealed in an interview with the Wall Street Journal: “Unfortunately, someone finally took a photo of him, but we'd rather keep him out of the spotlight.”

Although both Kourtney and Travis have shared brief images of Rocky, they have not yet released any photos showing his face, and it seems they are going to leave it at that.

Travis continued, “If I could do anything differently, I would do the same with my [older] Kids,” adding, “I think it's weird when you grow up, you're 15 or 12 and you think, 'Mom, you posted that about me?'”

Regrets aside, there is one upside to his son Landon, who turns 21 next month, living a public life: By following in his rock star father's footsteps, the father-son duo have spent plenty of time together.

Landon makes music through his father's label, DTA Records. Of their relationship, Travis said, “Growing up, I was into the Beastie Boys, Slayer, King Diamond and Minor Threat, while my dad listened to Johnny Cash, Buck Owens and Willie Nelson. It was hard to have different tastes in music back then. But my son and I have had the same taste in music our whole lives.”

“It's the coolest relationship,” he emphasized, and continued: “Landon is home most of the time making music on his own. But when I'm home, he asks me to work in the studio for a few days or help him finish a song or listen to it, and I help him as best I can.”

When asked what “word of wisdom” he would like to share, he said, “If you want to be great, you have to spend countless days in the studio.”

“You have to make so much music before you make the music you want to release and give to the world,” he claimed.

Travis shares both Landon and Alabama, who is 18, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, who he was married to from 2004 to 2008. He is also stepfather to her daughter with Oscar de la Hoya, Atiana de la Hoya, who is 25.
