Wausau man charged with sex crimes against children | WSAU News/Talk 550 AM · 99.9 FM

WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Wausau man is accused of having sexual contact with a 3-year-old girl during a backyard barbecue this summer.

Investigators said Kristofor Rozner touched the girl inappropriately while she was in the house, away from where the others were gathered.

The investigation began after the girl complained of pain in the vaginal area, after which doctors discovered foreign objects in her body. He is also said to have threatened her parents if she told anyone about the incident.

Police linked Rozner to the party through photos of the event posted on social media, and charges were filed against him earlier this month.

Rozner is being held in the Marathon County Jail on $50,000 bail. Additional court dates are scheduled for Wednesday and October 1, with a plea agreement set for November 1, at which time the 39-year-old will enter a guilty plea.

If found guilty at trial, he faces up to 60 years in prison.
