Bengals must win against Commanders on Monday Night Football

Joe Buck, ABC/ESPN's live commentator for the Cincinnati Bengals' Monday Night Football game against the Washington Commanders in Week 3 of the NFL, told ESPN host Scott Van Pelt that he views the game as a “must-win” after an 0-2 start to the season for Cincinnati and understands why the Bengals are considered favorites.

Buck and Troy Aikman commentated on the Bengals’ overtime win over the Jacksonville Jaguars last December.

“I don't sense any panic,” Buck said. “Yeah, we've been through that. It's kind of crazy to be 0-2 again with all the talent they have and the head coach they have? And with Zac Taylor five times in six years? It's just weird. I don't know how they lost to the Patriots. They did. They easily could have won that game last week in Kansas City. They didn't. And here they are. But I mean, they only play 17 of those games. And they can't go back to 0-3, clearly. So I expect them to play great tonight. They expect to play well. We'll talk to Joe Burrow later tonight about the wrist injury. But this is a game they need to win and should win.”
