Three injured in car crash north of Jamestown

STUTSMAN COUNTY, ND (Valley News Live) – Three people were injured in a crash north of Jamestown Monday.

A 69-year-old man was driving a 2009 Hyundai Palisade southbound on US Highway 281 approaching the 32nd St SE intersection. At the same time, the driver of a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, a 43-year-old man, was driving westbound on 32nd St SE approaching the same intersection. The 43-year-old entered the intersection and struck the ground on the front driver's side of the Hyundai. Both vehicles left the road and came to rest on their wheels in the southwest ditch.

According to the official report from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the driver of the Dodge Ram ignored the stop sign.

Both drivers and a 65-year-old passenger in the Hyundai suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Jamestown Ambulance treated all three and transported them to Jamestown Regional Medical Center for further treatment.

The accident is being investigated by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
