Trevor Lawrence More lackluster numbers in defeat

Lawrence completed 21 of 38 passes for 178 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the Jaguars' 47-10 loss to the Bills on Monday night. He also ran for three yards twice.

Lawrence and the Jaguars offense as a whole were under pressure early on, as the Bills led 13-0 by the end of the game and extended their lead to 34-3 by halftime. The 2021 first-round pick was only able to lead Jacksonville to that one field goal in five first-half possessions, one of which he thwarted with an interception. Lawrence's best stretch of the game came on the first possession of the second half, when he led an eight-play, 70-yard march that he capped with a six-yard touchdown throw to Brenton Strange. The fourth-year playmaker eventually gave way to Mac Jones midway through the fourth quarter, when the game was long out of reach. Lawrence will enter a Week 4 road divisional showdown against the Texans on Sunday after failing to throw for more than 220 yards in any of his first three games.
