RCSO: Man accused of reaching through fence to grab teens during Rockwood football game arrested Friday night

The Roane County Sheriff's Office said 38-year-old Oscar Livingston Jr. faces two counts of simple assault. It also said no juveniles were injured.

ROANE COUNTY, Tennessee – The Roane County Sheriff's Office said a man has been charged with reaching through a fence and grabbing two juveniles during a football game in Rockwood Friday night.

The sheriff's office said the two female juveniles reported to a school security officer that a man was standing outside the fence behind the visitors' bleachers. The sheriff's office said the man reached through the fence, grabbed one of the two by the arm and tried to grab the other.

It is said he let go of the teenager as she backed away. He was later caught running through a nearby neighborhood and identified as Oscar Livingston Jr. He was charged with two counts of assault.

None of the teens were injured. Authorities also said there was no indication he knew any of the teens. He was charged and his bail was set at $20,000, according to the sheriff's office.
