Let's face it: The key staffers who dropped out of Republican Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson's gubernatorial campaign in North Carolina left their posts not because of his alleged comments on an online porn forum that CNN uncovered last week — which he denies — but because he is going to lose.

This is what the co-moderator says Andy Levy in the latest episode of The new abnormalwho added: “Mark Robinson has made anti-LGBTQ comments in the past. He has made anti-Semitic comments in the past and none of that bothered these people.”

“The only reason they resigned is obviously because they realized he wasn't going to win. And that has nothing to do with morality, nothing to do with ethics, nothing to do with anything, because when you support a man and work for a man who has said the most vicious things about Jews, about gays and lesbians – and that's a partial list – you don't suddenly get upset about something like that.”

However, there is one caveat, Levy admits: “Unless, of course, the fact that he actually said he liked watching trans porn was too much for her, which I think is possible.”
