Meek Mill just bought a farm to start growing his own food

Meek Mill recently purchased a farm and plans to start growing his own food.

Meek Mill becomes a farmer

Meek Mill is thinking outside the box when it comes to his life outside of music. On Tuesday (September 17), the Philadelphia rapper made an announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter, revealing that he just purchased a farm.

“In other news…I recently purchased a farm,” Meek posted, without giving further details.

On Thursday (September 19), during the Ask Me Anything session, a fan asked for more details, including what animals Meek would like to have. “I want to grow food first, I don't know if I'm ready for farm animals yet,” Meek replied.

Meek appears to be following in the footsteps of his former label head Rick Ross, who runs a farm with various animals, including buffalo, on his Promise Land estate in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Meek comments on the dispute between Drake and Kendrick Lamar

Elsewhere in the AMA session, Meek was asked to name his top three West Coast rappers, namely Tupac Shakur, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg. A fan then asked if Meek chose Kendrick after seeing the results of the K-Dot and Drake Battle.

“Nah, I mess with Drake, he's cool, and the fight with Kendrick has nothing to do with me, I mess with Drake too, I have all their disses on my playlist right now,” the Dreamchasers rapper replied.

Meek also spoke about his current work on prison reform.

“I got a real law passed in my name today that is active and currently freeing people and reforming the way my people are trapped in the system,” Meek proclaimed. What are you doing? So I know? This affects most black and brown people in America, I'm a ghetto baby that shouldn't even be here!”
