First trailer for “Sinners” reveals Michael B. Jordan’s horror film

As promised in a spooky social media campaign that appeared online this week, “The sinners are coming.”

Michael B. Jordan appears in the new sinner Trailer offering the first look at his highly acclaimed but so far very mysterious horror film with Ryan Coogler, his director Fruitvale Station (2013), Believe (2015), Black Panther (2018) and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).

Jordan plays twins in this historical drama set in the South. A cryptic logline explains that the brothers tried to leave their difficult lives behind but returned to their hometown for a fresh start, only to find that “an even greater evil” was waiting to welcome them back. Initial reports described the project as a vampire film.

“I've been all over the world. I've seen people die in ways I didn't even know were possible,” says Jordan, one of the brothers. “Of all the things I've seen, I've never seen demons, ghosts, or magic… until now.”

After Warner Bros. won a hard-fought bidding war for the film in February this year, the company finally revealed the title sinner on Monday and launched a cryptic promotion. The studio's social media accounts began sharing the phrase “#SinnersAreComing,” and a poster featuring Jordan at the center was captioned with an ominous slogan: “Dance with the devil and he will follow you home.”

The film is scheduled to hit theaters on March 7, 2025. Watch the trailer above.
