Man accused of sex acts in church and Dollar General

Casey Letts, 33, is accused of possessing a large amount of child pornography, exposing himself in public and taking photos under a woman's dress in church.

ALLEGAN, Michigan – A West Michigan man is charged with a series of sex crimes.

33-year-old Casey Letts is accused of downloading large amounts of child pornography and sharing it via Telegram and Instagram.

This activity tipped off the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, who then contacted the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Allegan County Sheriff's Office.

13 ON YOUR SIDE has obtained the probable cause affidavit in which investigators review all evidence against Letts.

Many details of these alleged crimes are too graphic and disturbing to reveal.

Investigators accuse him of sexually abusing a woman in her sleep without her consent.

Letts is accused of exposing himself and taking photos up a woman's dress at his church near Pullman. He is also accused of exposing himself at a Dollar General store in Hamilton and sharing the video online.

Investigators said Letts' sexual behavior appeared to have escalated, including filming young women leaving stores and “stopping at random intersections to film women bending over in their front yards.”

In total, the prosecution brought 33 charges against him, including sexual abuse, possession/distribution of child sexual abuse material, exhibitionism, recording a non-sexually vulnerable person and using a weapon to commit a crime.

Letts was arraigned on September 10 in 57th District Court in Allegan.
