Two men arrested for armed robbery in Worcester

WORCESTER – A stolen moped led to the arrest of two men on armed robbery charges on Sunday, September 22.

Police responded to reports of a vehicle theft on Crystal Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they were met by several people.

One person stated that several individuals wearing ski masks and carrying firearms approached the group as they stood next to the vehicle. They allegedly stole the vehicle and fled the scene.

A short time later, police spotted a suspect's vehicle on Grand Street. They found the moped and returned it to the owner.

Officers arrested 18-year-old Lucas Parent and 21-year-old Willie Watson. They are accused of the following:

• Armed and masked robbery; and
• Bodily harm with a dangerous weapon (seven cases).
