Halle Berry, 58, reveals which GIANT singer asked her out – find out why she turned him down

Halle Berry remembers a music legend asking her out on a date via a note.

The 58-year-old “Catwoman” actress attended one of Prince's concerts at the famous Key Club on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood and now claims that the “Purple One”, who died in 2016 at the age of 57, tried to stalk her.

He sent her letters asking her out on a date, but she rejected his offer.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, she revealed: “He sent someone out with a piece of paper. You know how kids are: 'Do you like me? Yes or no?' I said, 'Yes!' I mean, I'm at his concert, right?

'Came out again [with another piece of paper that said]”Would you go out with me?”'

When asked if she had responded, she said: “No. I did not return the paper.”

Halle's recollection of her rejection of Prince comes after she recently credited Pierce Brosnan with “restoring her faith in men.”

The former Bond girl starred alongside the former 007 in the 2002 Bond classic “Die Another Day” and recalled that the 71-year-old actor was a “gentleman” through and through.

She told Wired: “He will always be my Bond, always. I'm a Pierce Brosnan fan.”

“With this film, he restored my faith in men. There could be no man who is more of a gentleman than Pierce Brosnan.”

For Halle, it is an “honor” to become part of “film history” with her role as NSA agent Jinx in the film.

She added: “Bond wasn't on my wish list, no, not to be in a film, but I've always loved the films.”

“Having acted in one, I feel like I'm part of film history… These films are cult.”

“They will forever be a part of our history and I am truly honored to have been part of such history, especially with Pierce.”

She had previously revealed that Pierce had even saved her life on set when she began to choke on a fig during what was supposed to be a “sexy” scene.

During her 2020 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she laughed, “I was supposed to be all sexy and try to seduce him with a fig, and then I choke on it and he had to get up and do the Heimlich maneuver.”

“That was not sexy at all. James Bond knows the Heimlich attack! He was there for me, he will always be one of my favorite people in the whole world.”

During the filming of Die Another Day, Halle had a high-profile romance with singer Eric Benet, whom she married in 2001 and divorced just four years later.

Previously, she was married to baseball player David Justice from 1992 to 1997, and later had relationships with Oliver Martinez and Gabriel Aubry.

She has been with singer Van Hunt since 2020.

Halle has a 10-year-old son, Maceo, with Oliver and a 16-year-old daughter, Nahla, with Gabriel.
