Motorcyclist killed in crash in southeast Portland identified

PORTLAND, Oregon (KPTV) – The motorcyclist who died in a crash in southeast Portland on Sept. 20 was identified Tuesday by the Portland Police Bureau.

On September 20 at around 3:20 p.m., police were called to an accident in the area of ​​Southeast 55th Avenue and East Burnside Street.

One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in Gresham early Tuesday morning.

When police arrived, they found that 44-year-old Kathryn K. Lakey of Portland had died in a car accident.

Lakey was the driver of a motorcycle and the driver of the car remained at the scene of the accident.

The Major Crash Team went to the scene to investigate.
