Trenton police arrested a 21-year-old Trenton man on September 23 for a minor violation of an adult protection order.

The Grundy County Sheriff's Office reports that Patrick Andrew Champlin Junior was taken into custody and his bail was set at $10,000 cash only. North Missouri Court Services handled the bail, and Champlin is scheduled to appear in the Associate Division of Grundy County Circuit Court on September 24.

Champlin is accused of violating the protective order on September 22. The violation occurred when Champlin allegedly had contact with the victim at a McDonald's, where the two got into a verbal argument. The protective order issued by the District Court of Scottsdale City, Arizona, prohibited Champlin from having any contact with the victim.
