Couple arrested for shooting man multiple times in Escambia County

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – A couple was arrested Sunday for allegedly shooting a man multiple times in Escambia County in April.

Levarion Howard, 43, and Alexis Dwiggins-Edison, 34, are both charged with attempted murder. Howard is also accused of assault.

The incident occurred on April 11 in the Wiggins Avenue area.

According to the police report, the victim was in his camp when Dwiggins-Edison arrived and confronted him about their past relationship.

The report states that she eventually pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times. Howard then approached with a gun and began shooting at the victim.

According to the report, when officers arrived, they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital and survived.

Howard is being held in the Escambia County Jail on $1,000,500 bail, while Dwiggins-Edison is being held on $250,000 bail.
