Police ask for help in finding the shooter in an incident of aggression behind the wheel

Fort Worth police are asking for help locating a car that appears to have been involved in a road rage shooting on Sunday that left a young father dead.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Interstate 820 and U.S. Highway 287, Fort Worth police said.

According to police, the wife of one of the drivers called 911 and said the second driver shot her husband and drove away. 30-year-old Emmanuel DeJesus Torres was killed.

Police said investigators found the suspect struck a guardrail in the crash, causing significant damage and tearing off the front bumper. The suspect's car is a blue Infiniti G-35 coupe or sedan, and they asked anyone who has seen a car with this type of damage to come forward.

Torres' wife posted on Facebook that her four-year-old son saw everything and pleaded with anyone who saw the car to contact police before the car was repaired.

Police said anyone with information about this investigation should call Detective O'Brien at 817-392-4338.
