Man dies after motorcycle accident in Boise

According to Boise police, preliminary investigations indicate that the motorcyclist collided with a concrete wall near South Vista Avenue and West Rose Hill Street.

BOISE, Idaho – A man died Monday at a local hospital following a motorcycle crash early Sunday morning, Boise police reported.

Police said Tuesday that the accident occurred at about 2:50 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at the intersection of South Vista Avenue and West Rose Hill Street near the Boise Depot. The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was hospitalized following the accident.

According to Boise Police, preliminary information indicates the motorcyclist was traveling north on Vista when he collided with a concrete wall after crossing the intersection with Rose Hill.

Tuesday's press release said officers at the scene found no evidence that another vehicle was involved in the accident. Police said officers found no witnesses to the accident, only people who reportedly saw the motorcyclist after the accident.

The man who died in Sunday's crash is being identified by the Ada County Coroner. Boise police are asking anyone with additional information about the crash to call the Ada County dispatch center at 208-377-6790.
