Soul Reaver remastered games leaked ahead of PSN presentation

It's really no surprise that someone with my last name is a big fan of the Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver Games. I loved those games back then. The first Soul Robber appeared on the first PlayStation in 1999, a few years after Blood Omen: The Legacy of KainThe sequel was released on PS2 in 2001, at a time when sequels didn't last five to ten years.

Now both Soul Robber titles are set to release in remastered form on PS5 on December 10th this year, according to new leaks ahead of the PSN Showcase on Tuesday. This is great news because I'd love to get back into these games after over 20 years and it will be fun to play a better looking version:

Of course, a complete remake would be better, and a new game in the series – which may be in the works – would be even better. Here's the blurb that leaked along with the games:

Experience the legendary story

Centuries after your former master Cain betrayed and executed you, you rise again and embark on a relentless campaign of vengeance.

Harness the powers of a Wraith. Slay your former vampire brothers with your claws, bolts of telekinetic energy, and the elemental Wraith Blade. Grow stronger by devouring the souls of your enemies.

Switch between realms. The Elder God has granted you the ability to switch between the spectral and material realms. Traverse the realms to solve puzzles, discover new paths, and defeat your enemies.
