Harris County shooting: Suspect charged with murder. Harris County 4th Precinct cop transferred to Harris County.

Athir Samir Murady, the suspect accused of killing 4th District Deputy Corporal Maher Husseini, is now behind bars in Harris County.

This is according to prison records obtained by FOX 26.

Recently released court documents provided insight into the events before and after the murder.

According to the records, Husseini and Murady spoke and shook hands outside Husseini's Jaguar Security Company on South Gessner Road 20 minutes before the shooting. The conversation was recorded by Husseini's dashboard camera.

Police reports indicate that Murady followed Husseini shortly after their meeting and shot him 13 times on Tuesday at the corner of Fondren and Richmond, nearly a mile from the Jaguar Security Company.

Both men worked for private security companies.

Husseini's business partner Mustafa Abushalbak told FOX 26 that Murady visited Jaguar about a year ago and tried to steal business from the company in New Orleans and Dallas.

Murady later apologized for his behavior and the company has not heard from him since.

The motive for the shooting remains unclear, as does the content of the conversation between Husseini and Murady.
