1 person arrested in shooting at Santa Cruz harbor, 1 suspect sought

Santa Cruz police said they arrested a man believed to be involved in a shooting that occurred at the Santa Cruz Harbor in early August. Two men were hospitalized and in critical condition following a shooting at the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor on Aug. 8, according to Santa Cruz police. Video in media player from previous coverage. Moses Dollar, 27, was arrested and charged with attempted murder. He was arrested Sept. 18 with assistance from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail on Monday. A woman connected to the case, Jakaella Porter, has a warrant for conspiracy and attempted murder, police said. Officers and law enforcement officials from other agencies arrived at the scene around 8:53 p.m. Thursday and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. Investigators believe some sort of altercation took place in the parking lot before the shooting. Police said the attack was targeted. Authorities said they were trying to locate two suspected shooters who reportedly fled in a black Dodge Charger. Following the shooting, the Santa Cruz Harbor District canceled the remaining Thursday Night Beach Barbeque events for the summer.

Santa Cruz police said they arrested a man suspected of being involved in a shooting that occurred at the Port of Santa Cruz in early August.

According to Santa Cruz police, two men were hospitalized and are in critical condition following a shooting on August 8 at the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor.

Moses Dollar, 27, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.

He was arrested on September 18 with the assistance of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He was taken to the Santa Cruz County Jail on Monday.
