Trump was informed of “real and concrete threats” from Iran to assassinate him

Former President Trump was informed on Tuesday of “real and concrete threats” from Iran to assassinate the Republican presidential candidate, his campaign team said.

Iran's goal of assassinating Trump is part of the Islamic Republic's efforts to “destabilize the United States and create chaos,” Steven Cheung, communications director for the Trump campaign, said in a press release.

Iran spreads “propaganda” from the UN podium and calls on the Middle East to unite behind Tehran

“Intelligence officials have determined that these sustained and coordinated attacks have increased in recent months, and law enforcement officials from all agencies are working to ensure that President Trump is protected and the election takes place without interference,” Cheung said.

“Make no mistake, the terrorist regime in Iran loves the weakness of Kamala Harris and fears the strength and determination of President Trump. Nothing will stop or deter him from fighting for the American people and making America great again.”
