However, Jenner has long been open about how her anxiety has affected her ability to feel comfortable as a model during fashion weeks. In September 2019, Jenner told ELLE: “I used to be really nervous at fashion shows. I feel like when you walk down the runway – I say this from experience – you just think: Go straight ahead! Go straight ahead!– and you try to just concentrate on that. Especially me, because I always got very nervous when I knew people in the audience. I tried to force myself to switch off. But now I'm OK with it – I've actually gotten so much better at it that I How I know who's there and I look over to see who's in the audience before I come out. But it's taken me a while to get to this point.”

Jenner revealed fashion in May 2024 that while she had experienced panic attacks in the past, her last one was two years ago. “I remember these nervous breakdowns on airplanes,” she said, recalling her early modeling careers. “They would come out of nowhere. I would think, Oh my God, oh my God, something is wrong with my heart: palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, double vision, tingling. All that stuff. I would call my mom and cry hysterically and say, 'They have to stop the plane, they have to turn around.'” According to fashionshe can now manage it with “deep breathing, distraction, meditation, journaling, weekly psychotherapy, [and] regular consultations with a spiritual healer.
