Cathode ray class lawyers argue over fees in 9th Circuit.

By Dorothy Atkins (September 24, 2024, 10:06 p.m. EDT) – Plaintiffs' law firm Cooper & Kirkham asked the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday to reverse a ruling that reduced the $3.452 million fee award it had received in a now-settled class action case over cathode ray tube price fixing, arguing that the firm was being unfairly penalized for representing a subclass while the class's lead attorney condemned the firm's tactics as “extreme property damage.”
