“Hope started putting carrots and blueberries in random bowls and was just going to leave them,” Hoda explained. “And Haley was like, 'No! That's not right.'”

“I would say entertainment is something you don’t know yet,” Hager later told Kotb.

“I have to say, Savannah understands that and she said, 'We come and we go,'” Kotb Hager told me. “They came in, had some cupcakes, walked around and the kids were on the swings for 10 minutes.”

After some snacks and playtime, Guthrie gathered her family to head out so Kotb could have more time to adjust to her new surroundings.

“I mean, I was there for about three minutes,” Jenna teased, referring to her own visit to Kotb's new abode. “So at 30, she might as well have spent the weekend there.”

Kotb and Guthrie made the most of their time together, a meaningful visit as Kotb celebrates a new chapter of his life.
