“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” tops the DEG charts for digital transactions in the week of September 15

Sony Pictures' Bad Boys: Ride or Die was number 1 in the top 10 list of digital sales and rentals of DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group, provided by GfK Entertainment, for the week ending September 15.

The fourth film in the series sees Will Smith and Martin Lawrence team up again as Miami detectives in a mix of action and comedy, but this time Miami's best detectives are on the run. When Captain Howard is wrongly accused of a lifetime of drug-related crimes, the Bad Boys vow to clear his name.

Warner’s horror comedy from 1988 moved up one place to second place Beetlejuicewhich is experiencing a boost with the theatrical release of the sequel.

Universal Pictures' Twisters fell one place to third place. A delayed sequel to 1996 TwistersThe film follows tornado researcher Kate (Daisy Edgar-Jones), whose path crosses that of Tyler (Glen Powell), a charming daredevil and self-proclaimed tornado tamer whose adventurous spirit in tornado chasing has made him a social media sensation.

The Despicable Me 4 remained No. 4. The animated sequel from the university's Illumination studio follows Gru, Lucy and their girls as they welcome a new member of the family – Gru Jr. – who is out to torment his father when a new arch-enemy emerges and forces the family to flee.

No. 5 was Paramount’s A quiet place: day one. The third film in the science fiction/horror series is a prequel that depicts the first day of Earth's invasion by aliens who attack anything that makes noise.

The Disney/Pixar animated film fell one place to 6th place. Inside Out 2The sequel to 2015 Everything is upside down returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley, just as the headquarters is suddenly demolished to make way for something completely unexpected – new emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who have seemingly been running a successful business for a long time, aren't sure how to feel when Fear shows up.
