Live Score Updates: Central – Phenix City defeats Enterprise in Alabama high school football showdown (9/20/2024)

The No. 1 ranked Central – Phenix City Red Devils (5-0) defeated the No. 10 ranked Enterprise Wildcats (3-2) 34-21 on Friday night in one of Alabama's top 25 high school football teams.

Red Devils running back Tristan Williams led them with three touchdowns. Enterprise went into halftime with a 14-13 lead, but the Red Devils controlled the third quarter and took a 27-14 lead.

The Wildcats cut their lead to one possession late in the fourth quarter, but a long touchdown drive by the Red Devils and Williams' third touchdown put the Wildcats ahead.

The Red Devils are ranked 14th in high school in SI's national top 25 rankings.
